If you install the SOLIDWORKS software on a touch-enabled computer, you can use multi-touch gestures. You can also assign macros and then quickly access them from the user interface or the keyboard. You can customize menus, keyboard shortcuts, toolbars, and the Task Pane. The most recent command is at the top of the list. The last ten unique commands are available in a command history. Toolbars are available for most SOLIDWORKS tools, and also for add-in products. The Mouse Gestures tab of the Customize dialog box includes options for enabling and disabling mouse gestures, and for viewing and customizing mouse gesture assignments. (CUI Dialog Box.jpg) When I apply the changes and exit the dialog, all the toolbars move to different locations. Maybe select another toolbar or something else. (Preferred.jpg) I then go into the customize user interface dialog box and make a change. Try several times to place the toolbar on the top/side of the drawing tab. I move the toolbars to where I want them docked, and lock the docked toolbars. You can use a mouse gesture as a shortcut to execute a command or macro quickly, similar to a keyboard shortcut. To dock classic toolbars Right-click on the toolbar > Lock location > All > unlocked. The menu bar contains the SOLIDWORKS menus, a set of Quick Access tools, the SOLIDWORKS Search, and the Help options.
